Day 137 -- Flower Girl

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

When: Tuesday, January 15th, 2012

Where: Photo shoot for my line at Balboa Park

Today was one of the first days I've started to feel the fruits of my labors since starting to work on my line full time. I can't wait to share more about what I've been working on, but I don't want to unveil anything major until I'm ready. I want it to be perfect!

Today we took photos of the key pieces in my range in order to list them on my website. Since my line is maternity wear, I donned a prosthetic belly. It was so funny and awkward. I had to change in Alex's car and it was really difficult to pull on my pants sitting down with a fake bump on, much less bend over to buckle my shoes. All in all, I'm really excited about how things turned out and I can't wait to post the photos for everyone to see!

I don't have a whole lot to say about this outfit, since I don't feel like I really wore it today. I spent most of the day changing in an out of my own designs, but this was just something simple and easy to wear for my morning in the studio and for walking Bucket after the shoot.

I am totally obsessed with these pants! They are so comfortable, they feel like sweats. I constantly have to tell myself that I wore them too recently to wear them again. It's so funny that I'm into pants of any kind, since I'm such a dress girl, but when it's cold in the house and I just want to jump into something easy and warm.

Blouse: Josephine, vintage from Second Time Around | Pants: BDG via Urban Outfitters | Shoes: Gap
