When speaking about the logistics of designing a maternity collection, the number one question I get is, "Are you using pregnant models?"
The answer is no.
Why?
Excuse me, but have you met pregnant women? Love them, but I don't want to worry about a stressed-out, swollen-footed, self-conscious, whiner going into labor on the runway. I can't have no water breaking on those shoes I just made! Oh no!
