I wore this ensemble to my internship. I got the skirt at Anthropologie last summer for $10. I was proud. The purple v-neck tee is from Target. I, of course, sported my MJ watch and tote, along with my Madden flats in eggplant.

Monday - Night
I changed out of my (sweaty) work clothes to go to all-you-can-eart wing night part ii. I put on a different Anthro skirt (again, $10, yay!) and an ikat weave racer-back tank top from UO. I belted the shirt and threw on my Calvin Klein t-strap sandals. I carried my go-to H&M purse.

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

The majority of this outfit I have owned since high school. The dress is from F21 and the mint green sweater is from Anthro. I used my H&M purse again and Keds completed the look.

Thank god tank tops are permissible at my internship! That place is h-o-t. I wore my zig-zag top from H&M with a purple silence&noise skirt. I repeated my shoes, watch and bag from Monday. Fashion faux pas?

By the time I got off my hour-long T ride home, I had to get out of that skirt! It was suffocating me! So... I put on jorts. I didn't leave my apartment... but I did have guests over. Fail.

Disco night at STA! I spent 2 hours dancing in a store window in this fab onezie. I wore a vintage belt and Italian platforms to give it that boogie down feel.

Friday, June 25, 2010

My co-worker, Jess, and I attended a "Fancy Dress" party at another STA store tonight. I thought my new Alice and Olivia dress would suit the occasion. I paired it with my Seychelles zipper heels and a Marc by Marc clutch (not pictured.) Jess and I thoroughly enjoyed the discounts, wine, and fanciness!

Went to work at STA in J Brands, F21 sheer printed top and Old Navy sweatervest. MJ watch, Maxx bag and Steve Madden shoes kept my outfit company.

Sunday, June 13, 2010

Bummed around Boston with Maj in Michael Kors jeans, oatmeal tank and a beige/coral grandpa sweater from the Gap. Broke out my red plaid Toms and H&M shoulder bag again.

Monday, June 14, 2010

Hauled my tired butt to my intership in my MK jeans, and a shirt from Urban. This shirt is a pretty good knock off of a Marc Jacobs top, so I had to get it. I wore my navy blue keds, MJ watch, and Maxx bag, too.

Monday, June 14th - Night

Changed my shoes, top and bag to go to an all-you-can-eat wing night. I wore a black and white striped racerback tank with a buffalo check sweater from Target. I also changed into my firetruck watch because I didn't wanna get my MJ one too saucy!

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Worked on my novel at Peets in my new favorite onezie! I wore a white cami underneath and a red BP sweater on top. I accessorized with a black patent leather belt and matching shoes. I carried my computer in my MJ tote.

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

I lost my wallet in this outfit! (also went to my intership.) Black UO button down is worn with a magenta stretch pencil skirt. I wore black Toms and carried my MJ tote.

Thursday, June 17, 2010

I accidentally wore green out to a bar to watch the Lakers/Celtics game. Kind of looked like a Celtics fan... Whoops. Paired this Gap sweater with Gap boyfriend khakis and green keds.

Friday, June 18th, 2010

Took the bus to (almost) Northamption in this outfit. MK jeans, navy keds, a top from Anthro were worn with both my black Jansport backpack, and my H&M purse.

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

Onezie alert! Wore this baby in NoHo with my Steve Madden flats and H&M purse.

Bikini pic! ...not. Here's me sporting a retro bikini (not pictured) and Maija's fab towel. Stripes really suit me, no?

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

Took the bus back to Boston in my MK jeans and a suuuper soft Truly, Madly, Deeply v-neck.

It was so d. hot in Boston that I had to change into this $5 dress from H&M. I wore this while I was out picking up my new pet fish, Chicken.

*phew* That was a loooong post! Hope you enjoyed it!

June 9, 2010

Please don't hate on this horrible outfit! I'm so embarrassed that I have to post this. I got really sick on Tuesday night (bad bacon?) so I called in sick to my internship Wednesday morning and didn't leave the house all day. I wore my Michael Kors jeans and an oatmeal tank top from the Gap. Fashion Failure.

June 10, 2010

By Thrusday, I was back up and running. I wore a F21 red and white striped sweatershirt to work at STA with my favorite pair of jeans - my J Brands! I wore what are quickly becoming my go-to shoes, my Steve Madden flats and I carried my Maxx New York bag. I kind of looked like an American flag. Or Where's Waldo.

June 11, 2010

I wore this outfit to my internship on Friday. (Usually I go on Monday and Wednesday, but I had to make up for Bad Bacon Blow Out 2010.) I wore a green flowered silk buttondown from the Gap and my Michael Kors jeans. I also included a marigold v-neck sweater because the AC in the sweatshop where I work is outta control!

June 11, 2010

Special Edition: Night
I wore this little number to my friend Karisa's house. I wore a marigold drapy sweater from H&M, a printed plaid tank top from Zara, a black knit skirt from F21, and my patent leather oxfords finally made a comeback!

See you in a few days!

Outfits of Summer, Part II

June 4, 2010

BCBG Max Azria royal blue dress with satin trim. Wore it to work at STA with some Calvin Klein t-strap sandals. Accessories are my Marc tote, firetruck watch, moonstone ring, and tree necklace.

June 5, 2010

I wore this outfit to work at Second Time Around. My feet hurt after. I'm wearing a pair of baggy boyfriend khakis with black Frenchi top I've had since the 7th grade. Seychelles heels and Marc tote. Tree necklace, firetruck watch and moonstone ring.

June 6, 2010

Onezie(!!!), keds, Maxx New York bag and my new Marc Jacobs white patent leather watch. It's love. Also wore to work at STA. Got majorly caught in the rain on my way out and thought I was going to drown. The onezie held up well, surprisingly.

June 7, 2010

I wore this outfit to my internship. Michael Kors jeans, Gap ruffle top, H&M sweater, keds. Maxx bag and Marc watch make a cameo along with my UO wayfarers. (On my way home I stopped at TJ to buy some hard cider and the checkout guy told me that they have to ID anyone wearing Keds. Awesome.)

June 8, 2010

My day off! Got a haircut and hung out in Peets Coffee in this little getup. The Runaways tee, grey Audrey pant from the Gap, old pair of Toms. I had to wear my firetruck watch. He was feeling neglected. Bag from H&M.

Outfits of Summer, Part I

Thursday, June 3, 2010
It's June! Summer is finally here!

I'll be documenting my summer by taking a picture of every outfit I wear. Here's Part I.

June 1, 2010

I wore this outfit out grocery shopping, to the movies and then to dinner at Karisa's house. Dress from H&M ($4.95!!!). Sweater and purse, also H&M. Shoes are Steve Madden, I got mine at Filene's Basement. (My sister, Maija has the same ones in black -- I liked her idea so much I got them in black and purple. These are the purple ones.) My signature watch is a flick flak I got in high school. It has fire engines on it. I'm also wearing my Moonstone ring. That thing never comes off!

June 2, 2010

I wore this get-up to my internship at Sterlingwear of Boston. The zig zag tank if from H&M and my new Olive Chinos were on sale at Urban Outfitters. The air conditioning can get pretty intense in the design office, while the factory is usually boiling, so I took this Gap bomber sweater on and off all day. I'm carrying my Marc Jacobs canvas tote and wearing a necklace with a little pair of scissors on it that my Big Sis Lindsey gave to me after the fashion show this year. Again, I have my firetruck watch and Moonstone ring on.

June 3, 2010

I wore this ONEZIE to work at Second Time Around today. It was perfect for the hot, muggy, rainy, awful weather. I wore it with my black patent leather Steve Madden flats, and a black patent leather Kenzie belt. I have my Marc bag, firetruck watch and Moonstone ring in tow, as usual, but I'm also wearing some camel earrings that I got on Height Street in SF.

What's not to love. It's a one-piece outfit!
Nothing could be easier.

Call it what you like -- a jumpsuit, a jumper, a romper, even a playsuit -- this little sartorial invention is undeniably my favorite category of clothing. Ever.

Let me share my collection with you...

This is my very first (adult) onezie. Urban Outfitters summer 2009. I famously wore this on the first day of classes Junior year. Walking back from class some fellow hollered at me from across the street, "Hey, Model!" I was very proud.

Here's another strapless option. Great for nights out drinking (when bathroom trips are frequent) as it can be removed swiftly. Forever21, Spring 2010

Work-out onezie! Also great for a swimsuit coverup... Target, Fall 2009. (It cost me $5!)

This is one of my very favorites! I saw her at Anthropologie in Fall 2008 and I knew she had to be mine. Gorgeous chocolate brown pantsuit with ruffle trim at the neckline and a tie at the waist. I wore this for New Years 2010. She had to be dry cleaned after such a fun night!

This one just arrived in the mail! F21, Summer 2010. I'm excited to create some memories with this dusty blue pocketed wonder!

Another new arrival. Olive green with schmancy leaf print. I jazzed it up with a patent leather belt. Urban safari?

Here's a printed version of my favorite onezie (see below). It's so super comfortable and versitile. The boob patrol (aka my mother) would be pleased -- note the white cami worn underneath.

Here's my most favoritest onezie evar! I wore it on the set on Everly Yours. I wore in when I was in California attending a wedding. I wore in one of the best twinzie moments ever. I wore it to the Boston waterfront when my family was visiting. I wear it to class probably a little too much. I once wore it to bed... And I'm going to keep on wearing it!

Now go out and get yourself a onecicle! Let's start a revolution!
