The Wedding "Do" Dress

Sunday, April 18, 2010

I finally completed the dress I will be wearing to the wedding! I'll post some better, HQ photos of it later tonight, but for now revel in the glory that is this fabric.
Lindsey bought this fabric to hang as a back drop for photos at her wedding. It's called African Lace. The morning after the wedding, as I was about to drive Danny and Lindsey to the airport for their honeymoon, I caught her unawares and asked her if I could have it. She agreed... and now, months later, it'll be appearing at yet another Palo Alto Wedding....

Update: Here's me getting sassy in front of a map of these great states. Enjoy!

  1. Hahaha "me getting sassy in front of a map" -- effing love it. Red green orange (whaaaaaaat -- did I just call your hair orange?! I'm just quoting someone else!) is awesome in this pic love :)

  2. Love it! Recycling, multi-purposing and from one wedding to another. Reminds me a bit of Scarlet O'Hara in Gone with the Wind making a beautiful dress from drapes. So resourceful you seamstresses.

Are we allowed to comment on the model's hair? I thought only the clothes matter. It's all about the clothes all the time, right?
