Where: To work at Alexis Bittar and later to the Blue Whale to hear some jazz and hang out with bestie Jess and beau Alex.
Why: My new do feels very '60s to me, so right after I had my locks chopped, I picked up this coral body con dress at forever 21. I have such a love/hate relationship with that place. On one hand, it's not designer or high end, but seriously, this dress cost me $12 so I can't complain.
I've been reading old posts on What I Wore lately (another thing I have a love/hate feeling about -- or maybe it's just jealousy). Jessica Quirk has been taking an outfit picture of herself every day since 2007! Amazing. Most of her choices simply aren't my style, but I loved her colored tights, so I snatched up these minty green/sky blue pair. I love the color block effect it gives with this dress.
I packed away all my shoes other than flats or tennies so I was forced to pick between this leopard print pair and the patent black ones I wore yesterday.
I picked the leopard and pulled the look together with a beige and black belt to reflect the colors in my shoes. Last, I popped on some green and blue lucite when I got to work!
What:
