48 Hours in Vegas

Wednesday, April 10, 2013
Oh man, Las Vegas was a blast and a total blur. It went by so fast, but here are some of my favorite shots from the 48 hours we were there.

Alex's very strict schedule... and list of very important addresses. Note what's at the top of the list.

The dust storm that brought traffic to a complete halt on the way there.

Alex playing with the latest greatest whosawhatsit.

Look! Alex's films! Playing on repeat... right there!

The view from our room.

Plate number one at Caeser's buffet.

Plate two.

And dessert.

After dinner, we went to the user event and got the VIP treatment thanks to Alex's newfound fame. We even left with a bottle of Coppola wine!

Neato ice sculpture at the Sony user event.

Alex up on the big screen! I could not be prouder.
Another shot. I wish I had captured the stage too so you could see the scale.

Vegas lit up at night.

Pretty impressive mosaic at the front desk as we checked out.

Breakfast plate #1. It kind of looks like a face.

Round two.

And then I had dim sum and sushi for breakfast. Whoops.

After we checked out, we wandered down the strip to the Bellagio to check out the Chihuly glass...

... and play some slots. We didn't win much.

The flowers in the lobby were pretty incredible.

Before we hit the road, we stopped by the dolphin habitat at the mirage and it was totally worth it. I could have stayed there for hours watching the dolphins jump and play. So so cute!

And just like that, the trip was over. We got on the road at sundown and returned to like in LA...
