Day 141 -- Purple Pin Up

Where: Dog park, studio

While I was home for Chistmas, my sister and I did a closet clean out and she found this gem in the way back of hers! She was going to give it away, but offered me first dibs. Of course, I had to have it!

I brought it back to LA with the intention of using the fabric for a different project or updating the style. When I tried it on to see how I could adjust it, I found that it fit like a glove and didn't need a stitch! All I did was throw a slip underneath and run with it.

I played up the 1950s look with some cheeky pumps and ankle socks, and a white belt. I definitely got some funny stares in this outfit. I guess not too many people are running around in sheer purple retro dresses (at the dog park), but it was so fun!
